Biography

My research integrates insect behavior, chemical ecology, and integrated pest management across both field and stored-product systems. I have worked on major pests including Helicoverpa spp and Tribolium spp. Currently, my research focuses on resistance monitoring and management in corn systems, including Bt resistance in the European corn borer and insecticide efficacy in sweet corn production.

Research Interests

Current Research

  • European corn borer resistance surveillance

Assessing Bt resistance across the U.S. and Canada through F₂ screening.

  • Foliar treatments for sweet corn pests

Testing Vantacor, Elevest, and Steward eVo against corn earworm.
